When laying overhead power lines between residential buildings, industrial parks and administrative buildings, insulated SIP wires for fixing are most often used, and anchor clamps are used.
The main purpose of the anchor clamp for the installation of SIP is the reliable installation of the wire when stretched between the supports of the transmission line. Such clamps allow you to quickly install cable lines between the supports, poles and structures on which the transmission line is installed. There are several types of clamps at once, which differ in design features and purpose. The most common anchor clamp is the RA1500 (figure.1) Designed for attaching self-supporting insulated wire, with isolated zero carrier core, also for clip (figure.2), designed for attaching 4 wires at once. In addition, it should be noted that the RA1500 anchor clamp is used not only for fastening, but also for wire tension.

Such devices are used at the start and end points of the power line. In addition, they are used in places where the overhead wires rotate sharply or there is a sharp difference in height between the supports. In such cases, their use is due to the need to reliably fix the wire in terms of a sharp change in the direction of the path.
Another purpose of the anchor clamp is to prevent the wire from hanging under the influence of gravity, wind and during the formation of icing. RA25X100 anchor clamp is made so as not to damage the insulation of the wire during fastening and tension. In many respects, this stage is most responsible for the installation of such lines.
Special attention in the design and manufacture of clamps is paid to the structural materials used. In many respects, the high requirements imposed on the material of the clamp are that these devices must be outdoors for a long time and exposed to the environment (ultraviolet rays, snow, rain, high and low temperatures, etc.), but they should not be subject to corrosion and should not lose their properties.
The most common materials in production are plastic, galvanized steel, aluminum alloy. Such structural materials make it possible to create products that are resistant to temperature changes, ultraviolet rays, high humidity.
As well as other subtypes of these products, anchor wedge clamps are attached to power cable supports, using hooks and brackets. For reliable fixation of the wire in the bracket, special wedge-shaped inserts with teeth are used. These structural elements are intended for self-tightening of mounted wires. During installation, the wire moves to the narrowest place of the clamp, after which the teeth are clogged, and the cable remains firmly attached to the support.
Suspended electrical wires passing between pillars, buildings and other supports are attached with clips.
They fix the wire at the beginning and end of the cable route, in case of a sharp change in direction, in case of a turn of the line, in case of a difference in height between the poles.

Anchor brackets differ from each other in material, size, and appearance. Their design depends on the location of the clamp.
1. Attach the bracket (hook) to the installation site.
2. Remove the steel loop from the clamp body.
3. Fix it on a hook or bracket.
4. Return the loop to its previous position on the housing.
5. Pull the wedge out of the housing.
6. Insert two or four branch wires into the housing.
7. Install a wedge between the housing and the cores.
